From the Author This volume 2 of Poems, Dreams & More is an updated version with poetry that should have been included with the first volume. The poems that slipped by me are ones about me, growing as a new person and letting go of my past.

I used to write it to work through my own feelings, but I find myself more at home reading prose, which is my reason for four stars instead of five. I did find these poems to be relatable as they progressed from vulnerability and gentleness into moments of anger. The poems "Sleep?" and "Come home" somehow struck me the most. I enjoyed the simplicity that actually said so much more.

Her words place impressions within my mind, and the ability to provoke emotions inside me which is exactly what poetry should do. She may start a poem out dark but somehow turns it around to light. The poetry section, are random poems ranging from her family and love to ideals that have meaning to her. The dreams section is mostly about infatuation and being in love; the giddiness one feels as well as the self doubt. The final section, and more, is about life, her random thoughts that she expresses in the form of poetry.What I loved most about this book is the honesty, and feeling I was left with after reading. It’s not one poem in general but all of them combined that had me relating her poetry to my own life, filling me with emotions. I have now read all Jeniann’s poetry books and I’m always left sentimental and reminiscent of my own fond memories. Her style is both charming and genuine in the way she manipulates words bringing them to life. I fell in love with her poetry when I read Phraseology and Letters, since I have read them all and enjoy her poems and more and more each time I read them.A remarkable author and read!

Another great poetry book written from the heart of the author By Shannan Lee Poems, Dreams and More by Jeniann Bowers is the third poetry book I have read by her. And just like other two this does not disappoint. The author has the contents of the books divided up into 3 sections… Poems is the first, then Dreams and finally ending with More. My favorite section was the Dream section and in that my favorites were Loving You, I know who you are, Hey you, Just you, and It’s you. I had some picked out from each section but those were the ones that I really really enjoyed. Just like the others I give this book 5***** and recommend it to any poetry lover. And even if you don’t love poetry, I think you should give this one a try.
