When she returned with the "elixir" she presented it to the collective consciousness in the form of transformative archetypical poetry. A journey born of love and respect By johnabrennan1 In "Journey to the Heart Waters," author Louisa Calio invites the reader to accompany her on her personal pilgrimage. A journey born of love and respect, a journey back in time to a distant, once great, ancient civilization. As we follow in her footsteps we are reminded of the splendor and glorious history of a land shrouded in the vast expanse of ever moving sands. Majestic rivers flow, carrying the memories of olden kingdoms, shimmering cities beckon on the far horizons. Tribal peoples and customs are presented in all their colorful, exotic magnificent detail. The blown sand stings, the aromatic spices entice and fill the nostrils. Kings and robed Magicians hold court and always, the search for the soul, the driving force that can not be denied. A wonderful adventure told with passion.
