About the Author Becky Bowen has been a Registered Nurse for twenty years. She has two children, a son and daughter, three biological grandchildren, one step and one foster. Becky was widowed after forty-one years of marriage. She started writing poetry in the 1970's inspired by her mother's poems which two of those were written when Lindburgh flew the Atlantic and during V-E day and V-J Day. She spent her childhood with verbal history of family, wars and the Great Depression. Since a child, she has witnessed much human suffering. She has been a Christian since the 1970's and has attempted to share the love of Christ to as many as possible.

One thing I can say about the author is that she has always had a steadfast faith in Jesus. Each and every poem has a real story and a time of testing behind it. Each poem was written for someone or for some time to be an encouragement in that needed moment. I believe these poems can be that same encouragement to others as they read the anointed words for themselves.
