The celebrities add a shine, but much of the focus and interest is how Dick Guttman, from his earliest beginnings, handled with integrity and a lot of flair the careers of others. Publicity may seem a bit ephemeral to those not in the business, but he explains some of the ups and downs involved, bringing the reader inside the charmed circle of Hollywood. And in a career lasting sixty years, there's a lot of charm and fame to be explored.
