3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. Solid Information and Fun to Read By Griffin Smith I’ve been looking for a book on Siamese or “Mental Hospital’ chess for a while now. I love how bughouse is such a fast time control game, and how it's crazy and dazzling to watch. I came across this book and bought it immediately.I’m glad I did, it’s through and explains everything from clocking to teammate communicating and strategy. At 244 pages and not much fluff , It’s totally worth the three bucks and I’ll keep it in my Kindle library as a reference book. This book is also a great introduction to bughouse AKA exchange chess, tandem chess, transfer chess, team chess, and flying chess. I’m constantly working to improve my game and learn new aspects and angles.I’m holding back a star because I wanted a little more detail on advanced strategy, maybe there’ll be a follow-up book that’ll cover these points, and I’ll definitely get it.All in all, it’s a good buy and totally worth it.4 stars from me!
