Tribell By Cilla Fekete Another great anthology from Weasel Press!I buy every publication by or with work from my favorite modern poet William S. Tribell. Weasel Press is a great small press with beautiful well made books, and once again they have featured two poems by William S. Tribell; "Occidental" and "The Fear".I recommend this, and every Weasel Press Anthology to every fan of poetry.

Went In a moment of ignorance I forgot that Pietras has already put out The Manson Family, Then and Now, which has been roundly criticised by most reviewers. So I bought Bloodbath in Tinseltown, and instantly realised that it's a re-release of the former book with some badly formatted additions. Pietras must have published this himself and certainly has not availed himself of an editor- there are countless typos, names misspelt throughout or spelt differently every time they appear, huge chunks cribbed from other sources without due acknowledgement, formatting of titles of books and films is all over the place and information is repeated verbatim from one chapter to the next. There is no analysis and the "where are they now" just lists and repeats parole dates and summarises newspaper articles such as the recent Manson- Star marriage thing without any context. As a teacher, it kept reminding me of the sort of work the students pass up when they are obsessed with something but completely unable to evaluate or edit their own work. Oh well, my mistake....
