About the Author
Dr. Javed Latoo is a UK-based Kashmiri doctor who was born in Srinagar, Kashmir. After graduating from medical school in Srinagar, Dr Latoo moved to the United Kingdom to train as a Psychiatrist at the University College London, where he now lives and practices. He is also an honorary lecturer at Liverpool John Moores University and managing editor of the British Journal of Medical Practitioners.
His work as a Consultant Psychiatrist in the National Health Service (NHS) has ignited his interest in the fields of philosophy, psychology, and poetry, which resulted in this collection of poems. Besides his busy clinical, editorial and academic responsibilities; in his spare time, Dr. Latoo writes poetry and newspaper columns. His literary work has been published in literary and medical journals as well as in newspapers.

By andleeb I have been waiting for Dr Javed's book (collection of poems).Writing poems is a talent but taking time out of his busy schedule for a collection of such good poems is not only a talent but dedication towards poetry. Javed is not only a good doctor, but a very good human being. The book of Gushing Fountain is an excellent collection of poems. I love all the poems of Gushing Fountain, and so does my family.I recommend it to everybody.

I strongly recommend this book which takes us through various life experiences. These poems touch the very soul of human existence. It is a beautiful experience to read these poems - true human lives and emotions.
