By Tanja one by one she saw her fellow cell mates die when they were fighting against the change. the same was happening to her, it was taking everything she had to fight the animal lurking inside her mind and body. she didn’t want to give in. in the cell next to her, the young woman was battling the same “demon”. she wanted to be strong for both of them and she was sure they would succeed in fighting of the “demon” inside. that wasn’t counting on the guards, they want the change! being warned of she refused to listen. not to the guards, not to the animal within. however she did listen to the other woman fighting in the cell next to her. when the guards enter the cell next to her it becomes clear her cell hasn’t been locked and her animal urges her to run, to escape. one moment she hesitates but then she chooses freedom. she’ll fight for her freedom.whether she gets out or not i’m not telling, ha! you’ll have to pick up this prequel.it’s a fast paced story that tells of the struggles inside a person, the battle with another being inside of you. the taste of freedom and the desire to stay that way, betrayal for it being taken away again.there is little that isn’t covered in the short introduction to a new series.free copy gifted in exchange for an honest review

By Debi Savage is a Prequle for a new Dark Shifter series “Underground Kings.” This is my first book by Kim Faulks. As I started to read the book, It was not to my liking and I almost quit. But I didn't and I'm glad once I got past the first parts of the book that I didn't like (based on my preferences only.) This is also my first Dark Paranormal of any kind. So it was quite different.The story-line flowed and was well written. The plot was thick. The characters were well developed and their personalities fit well within the story.Mia had been raised in the cell of the Carlson Corpration from birth. At this point Mia was close to beginning her first transformation into a wolf-shifter. There were 10 women in this study group of experiments and 8 women had aready died trying to transform.That left Mia and her sister Sasha. Sasha was already in the threws of transformation. Mia telling her the entire time to push her wolf back. There was a terrible comotion in Shashas cell, when Mia looked it was horifying.This however gave Mia a chance to run and Sasha kept telling her to run and get away. Sasha's voice echoed in my head telling me to run, run no matter what. Even though I knew she was deadMia and her wolf were at odds. Mia refused to shift and her wolf was willing to kill them both. As Mia found it harder to run, the dogs and guards were getting closer. When they reached Mia she fought with all she had. She was hurt, she was tired; they were going to take her back to the cell where she would die like the 8 other women and her sister.Did they get her back to the cell? Pick up a copy and read about allof the violence and passion I left out! Even though this story-line was not to my tastes. I have to know what happens to Mia so I will be picking up book 1 of the series.I was given a copy for an honest review.

The wolf paced inside me. Watching, waiting for an unguarded moment where she could seize control. Her growl tore through my head. No matter how hard I tried to block her out, I felt her power.” Stuck in a cell of the Carlson Corporation, Mia’s first change is upon her. All that have changed before her have died. She is terrified. She feels the wolf under her skin, telling her to fight, to run. Mia manages to escape, with the guards chasing close on her heels. The chase. The fight. The struggle to survive as she closes her eyes to give up. The smell of wolf, scent of the alpha. Strong arms cradling her and keeping her safe. Reading this book, I was Mia. I heard the sounds of the forest, felt the dirt under my nails. When she finally changed, I trembled as well. The sounds of bones crunching and the feel of fur growing. The scent of wolf. Amazing!

Cecil Costa

Cecil Costa, also known as Eduardo Campos in Latin countries, is a Euro-Brazilian freelance developer who has been learning about computers since he got his first PC (an AT 286) in 1990. From then on, he kept learning about programming languages, computer architecture, and computer science theory. Learning and teaching are his passions; this is the reason why he worked as a trainer and an author. He has been giving on-site courses for companies such as Ericsson, Roche, TVE (a Spanish television channel), and a lot of other companies. He is also the author of Swift Cookbook and soon he will also write a book called Reactive Swift Programming. Nowadays, he teaches through online platforms, helping people from every part of the world. In 2008, he founded his own company, Conglomo Limited (http://www.conglomo.es/), which offers development and training programs both on site and online. Over his professional career, he has created projects by himself and also worked for different companies, from small to big ones, such as IBM, Qualcomm, Spanish Lottery, and DIA%. He develops a variety of computer languages (such as Swift, C++, Java, Objective-C, JavaScript, Python, and so on) in different environments (iOS, Android, Web, Mac OS X, Linux, Unity, and so on) because he thinks that a good developer needs to learn every kind of programming language to open his mind, and only then will he really know what development is. Good Examples of Building Swift/Xcode Apps Using a Variety of Frameworks By CandaceVan I picked up this book because I've been working my way through Swift by Example (also published by Packt), and this looked like a similar kind of book that would teach me how to use some of the frameworks (both Apple and 3rd-party) available to use in iOS development.This is not a beginning book. It assumes that you are familiar with both Xcode and Swift, and after a brief review, it plunges into seven very different projects that range from manipulating photos to creating a 2D game to creating an app for an Apple Watch. Aside from a bit of non-traditional English (clearly comprehensible although obviously written by a non-native author), I have found this book to be, so far, to be a very worthwhile purchase. I'll update my review if my opinion changes by the end of the book!Here's a roundup of what is specifically in the book:Swift 2 Blueprints by Cecil Costa (known as Eduardo Campos in Latin countries), published Oct. 2015 by Packt Publishing, 276 pages. The introduction which covers Xcode (keyboard shortcuts, version control, testing a UIView in playground, etc.) were helpful, and you can tell this was written by working developers. The sample apps are well presented and the practical approach is carried forward throughout. I think anyone developing apps with Xcode would benefit from this book.

Matthews I purchased this book from Packt publishing, as I have done a lot with other titles lately.The book is pretty good. I'd probably give it 4.5 stars if that were an option. Very few books will ever get 5 stars.The book starts off with a pretty quick overview on xcode, etc. and then jumps right into talking you through making 7 different apps.The strategy of walking you through is pretty good, it get's your hands dirty and your head around the kinds of things you have to do to make an app. It's not designed to be a technical resource and the book doesn't cover everything, but it does a great job with focusing on several aspects of making an app using swift and some of the right things to do and the wrong things to avoid. They don't spend any time with CoreData but they do throw in a watch app.Overall it's a great book...probably not the first book on iOS programming someone should read but it's a great hands-on walkthrough for someone new to swift.It's a very good technical book for what it's intended for.

By ferzbery Why four stars to this book:- it is not a fake computer created book, by a fake author, with fake reviews. I admit this is not easy to find in 2015- in his line of gambits it's the easier to retain- he onestly admits in the conclusions that this opening is fundamentally unsound.We already knew this since Viktor Moskalenko- it is however a surprise weapon to smash the unaware in blitz games. Are you there for the fun or just to collect elo points?- my rating is not 5 stars as a visualization of 12 plies is required not to use a board. Somewhat too many. A link to the pgn would have been highly appreciated- he is boosting his series as "five minutes chess openings", actually nothing is such easy in chess.- thanks to let us have it for free anyway

She lived in Seville, Spain for 23 years teaching English as a foreign language and devotes her time to writing spiritual books - to date she has published eleven books, collectively titled EXPERIENCING GOD. This volume is Volume III and Clare comments on this collection of her poems in her Introduction: `These are a selection of poems inspired by God during different periods and experiences in my life. Some were written during a period of physical illness and suffering. Others in a period of quiet and relaxing moments while on holiday, enjoying good health and the beauty of life. Others were written during the busy working week when, as a mother, teacher and housekeeper, one has little time to sit down all day.' The variety of emotion is more expansive in this volume but the sanctity of her belies remains strong. By Maria Scottish author Clare Mc Neill is a spiritual poetic writer and wrote these beautiful poems inspired in God during different periods of her life- sad periods of physical sickness where she suffered, happy and relaxing moments while being on holiday enjoying life, and others where inspired during busy working days.Experiencing God Volume III is a beautiful collection which I really enjoyed reading, especially because I knew beforehand in which contexts the author wrote them. They are perfectly-written, giving Mc Neill's perspective and others perspectives.We live in such a rushy, accelerated, consumist world, that we never stop and think about the simplest things in life, in what God gave us, expecting nothing in return. If you are a religious person, you will really feel at easy with this sweet collection of poems. And if you're not a religious person, you can give it a try and see that you will get exactly the same effect.Simple, sweet poems to understand life in a peaceful manner and, most of all, to enjoy.

Comforting Words By Southern “Experiencing God (Volume III): A Collection of Poems” by author Clare McNeill consists of two books, and an additional collection of 20 poems. The overarching work is a beautiful collection of poems that were inspired by and portray a reflection of the various stages of the author’s life, be they times of health and relaxation, stress and business, or sickness and pain. I think these poems are an accurate depiction of the emotions involved these various types of life events. Even if the reader is not particularly religious, they provide a sense of comfort and a sense that stability and peace are readily available for all those who seek it. I liked how it often alludes to the simpler parts of life, and makes references to how often and easy those things are to overlook. No matter what your faith or where you are in life at the moment, these poems will help you and possibly open your eyes to things that you may have never even considered before. I received this book for free in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.
