0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. I am a little confused, but I love the story By Sue C. Dees I finished Fleet's story and the story line just keeps getting better. I enjoy this very different approach to the interaction between humans and dragons. I am a bit confused at times and do have to go back and re-read pages due to some of the typographical errors. For instance, we see the author use both Ember and Emory in reference to the King. In the first book the Earls son Edward was friends with Ember who was then King Stephen's son and the crown prince. The way these books are presented is different because the story for each member of the clan that is told seems to just pause and we don't really know what happened to them. I assume that each of these people will be a key person in the upcoming War. I am almost half way through book 4 now and am eagerly waiting to see how this one will end. One reviewer said that the book just stops. I wonder if they have read the others because they all just stop and move on with the story of another member of the Dragon Clan. I am thinking that a final book or more than one will tie them all together....or not. I guess we just need to wait and see.

Very entertaining and the author writes with great descriptions I could picture in my mind while reading throughout all three books. I cannot wait to read #4, which I have started. I believe this book and #1 and #2 to also be great books for young and old alike. I found these books to be similary to Ann McCafrey books...fantasy like books.

The author is understandably trying to build characters, but the stories are similar and don't engage you enough as a reader. I won't be finishing the series.
