Gina writes over a considerable range of topics and emotions; a number of poems have special appeal for their powerful articulation of emotions. Gina goes on to objectify various thoughts and feelings in a very terse and beautiful manner indeed. A highly charged lyricism and harmony that is of the best creative order that reminds one of the writings of Emily Dickinson or even Keat's sonnets.
About the Author From Ohio USA, Gina is an Author, Freelancer, Equestrian and Poet. Living in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains promotes inspiration and passion for creative writing. Turning each page, I thought, "Oh, how it was my favorite" but only to realize, I have picked many favorites. It is a perfect title "To the Heart" because it speaks to the heart. I am impressed with the word choices and emotions shared. This is one collection that can be read again and again.

By Jim Hart A fine collection of heartfelt poetry that reminds the reader of the various aspects and forms one encounters when love, as Ms. Mc Knight intones… ignites her mind…with… promises of flame fueled by unknowns. Ms. McKnight proves to be equally at home in her writing of poems of the heart as she does writing for children. Perhaps it is that loving quality that cuts through all her work.
