About the Author Christine Blackburn is a writer, producer, host, and creator of her own podcast Story Worthy and the game show, Shotgun Story Worthy. She is a contributing writer to the Huffington Post and has been seen in over 50 national commercials. Christine spent two years on the USA Network program "Ready For The Weekend Movie." Christine is passionate about music, tennis, and sushi. She lives with her daughter in Los Angeles.

Blackburn is both funny and poignant in her debut memoir - an incredibly satisfying look at life's unpredictability and intensity. We could all take a page from Blackburn's book: a little sense of humor goes a long way in this life.
2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Super Fun! By Melissa I admit, memoir is my favorite genre, I read a lot of it but sometimes never know what I'm in for. This was a pleasant surprise, reading about the adventures of someone who has had such an adventurous life kept me turning the pages. It reminded me a little of Cheryl Strayed's Wild with its brutal honesty and compelling storytelling. It also had humor and Hollywood stories that made me think of Amy Poeler's Yes, Please, which I'm just finishing. PIT to LAX made for a fun weekend read and also made me grateful that I never became a flight attendant!

Exquisite stories By Bill Ratner Christine Blackburn is a brilliant and powerful storyteller, mixing humor, drama, life-changing situations, and her unique and eminently likable brand of storytelling into this collection of amazing true stories. Those of us lucky enough to have seen her tell stories live onstage in Hollywood are flocking to the bookstore to buy her book.
