The author has chosen to present her work in chronological order which spans over more than two years of her life. Reading this, it is fascinating to see how her own personal growth and spiritual development has taken her out of victim mentality to a self-empowered worldview. It is no coincidence that when these changes have taken place in the author’s inner and outer world, she has gone on from having dreams to making them a reality, like publishing her books. And the journey is by no means finished yet. I cannot wait to read the next collection and I am in awe with this woman who does not stagnate, but keeps moving on, through hardship and happy times to pursue her goal to live an ever greater version of herself. She is an ordinary woman in the sense that she has started her journey described in this book as someone we can all relate to with her fears, hopes, aspirations and dreams. And from this point, she struggles free, bit by bit, poem by poem, to crawl, walk, run and fly! Watching her path unfold before her in poetic form gives you the inspiration needed to know, we can all do it, we are all special in our unique, innate talents. We merely need to step out of our comfort zone and push ourselves to greater things. Nelson Mandela said (paraphrasing) that the greatest fear man has is not of his own weaknesses, but of his greatness. In this spirit, I recommend this book to all who need an inspiration in their lives, to all who wish to push beyond their own limiting boundaries – and even if you just like poetry, Tirza’s words are deeply touching and healing. I have cried, I have laughed and I have shaken my head in wonder at the pearls of wisdom, the beautiful way of her expression. It’s been a treat on all levels!
